Lawn Maintenance

We undertake a complete range of lawn maintenance services including mowing, strimming, edging and patch repair.

We also provide a seasonal treatment program to give your lawn a thorough overhaul:

scarifying to remove a build up of moss and thatch;
aerating the soil to improve drainage;
top-dressing and re-seeding;
fertilising to ensure sufficient nutrients for healthy growth.

My name is Helen Weeks and I am an RHS trained horticulturist.

After a 20 year corporate career, I decided to pursue my passion for plants and make gardening my career. I have a particular interest in edible growing and maintain my own allotment alongside my home garden.

FAQs

I have a small garden, can you still help?

Of course! We love all gardens, big or small. Depending on the nature of the service required, a minimum call out charge may apply.

Do you remove garden waste?

Unfortunately due to waste disposal regulations, we are unable to remove garden waste.

We recommend utilising your local coucil garden waste collection service. Alternatively we are happy support turning your waste into a source of organic mulch by adding it to your compost pile.

If that is not suitable, we will bag up garden waste and leave it for you to dispose of at your convenience.

I have lots of weeds and want you to spray weed killer.

We take a chemical-free approach to gardening wherever possible in order to reduce our environmental impact, encourage biodiversity and build a healthier soil for your plants. We will weed by hand and work with you to implement alternative solutions to reduce weeds, such as regular mulching.

Do I need to be at home when you visit?

No, you don't need to be present while we work. During our initial consultation we will discuss the specifics of the job and agree appropriate access arrangements.

Are you insured?

Yes we have full public liability insurance.

Are you able to supply plants?

Yes, we are provide a quote for supplying plants or other garden materials. We will be able to suggest the right plants to suit the style of your garden and that will thrive in your garden conditions.

What are the costs of your services?

We will provide a detailed quote after an initial site visit, during which we will discuss your preferences and requirements.
